With over seven years of experience as a primary care nurse practitioner, I am passionate about providing quality and accessible health care to rural and underserved communities. As the Primary Care Fellowship Director at Cabin Creek Health Systems, I lead and manage a comprehensive and innovative program that trains and mentors new advanced practice providers in primary care settings. I also work as a Primary Care NP at Cabin Creek, where I provide patient-centered and evidence-based care to a diverse population of adults and older adults. I have strong skills in project management, clinical education, and leadership, and I have contributed to multiple initiatives to improve the delivery and outcomes of primary care services. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing and an Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certification from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology. I am currently a Doctor of Nursing student at Emory University with an expected graduation of December 2023. I am committed to advancing the role and impact of advanced practice providers in primary care by facilitating the transition from academic studies to clinical practice.
