Biography
Dr. Sara has been successfully diagnosing and treating families, children, and individuals for ADHD, learning differences, Autism, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, parenting challenges, and attachment issues for over 15 years. She owns Kidpsych, Inc. (www.kidpsychinc.com) a private practice on her family farm in Westfield, IN, which has several therapists that serve a broad population of clients at home, school, and in the community. Sara completed her Ph.D at Indiana State University as well as specialized training in relaxation and mindfulness in the Department of Behavioral Health at Harvard Medical School. Post Doctoral work was completed at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Sara’s research has been focused on neurobiological diagnosis of autism, home-based provision of early intervention in psychology through Indiana’s FIrst Steps program, and vaccine injury. She is the founder of Camp Organic, a play based outdoor experience for children with psychosocial needs to develop skills in managing peer relationships, self regulation, caring for animals and the earth, and learning about organic living.
Sara is the mother of three creative, energetic, and talented children who participate in sports, community theatre, and volunteer for Camp Organic. Sara is a member of the Physicians for Informed Consent, our mission is to unite doctors for informed consent in vaccination, and educate the public on infectious disease, the immune system, and informed consent. She is also a member of the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF), a source for accurate information on nutrition and health, always aiming to provide the scientific validation of traditional foodways.
