Dr. Majmundar was born in Hoboken, NJ and grew up in Monmouth County, NJ. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from State University at New Paltz, where he also played on the Lacrosse Team. He attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Hackensack Palisades Medical Center in 2014. Since that time, Dr. Majmundar has cared for patients in a myriad of settings; including outpatient, hospital, nursing homes, LTACs, SNFs, and has served as associate Director of Hospital Medicine at Atlantic Health-Newton Medical Center and is currently Medical Director for Brookdale Hospice. Dr. Majmundar is passionate about teaching residents, nurses and his patients. He has published in multiple medical journals and recently received Bayshore Medical Center’s 2019 Physician of the Year award. In his free time, Dr. Majmundar is an avid golfer and loves to travel with his wife and family.
