I trained in general surgery and then completed higher surgical ENT training in London and at centres of excellence abroad (USA, Switzerland and Denmark) resulting in gaining the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in ENT and being appointed as Consultant ENT Surgeon at Whipps Cross University Hospital. In 2006 I was asked to start providing private specialist ENT services at Spire Roding and Holly House Hospitals. In 2009 I became the Lead ENT Clinician at Whipps Cross and in 2012, I was appointed as the Clinical Director of ENT at Barts Health NHS Trust. Although I am lauded for my management and training skills, my primary focus has always been and always will be on providing the highest level care possible for my patients. It is particularly gratifying for me to hear patients describing my consultations as being clear, compassionate and caring and I have immense satisfaction in seeing my patients recovering so well after surgery. I have become known as the ENT surgeon that local health professionals choose to see themselves.
