Mr Sajal Rai is an experienced General and Colorectal surgeon with a special interest in the common disorders of the Rectum and the large intestine and Bowel cancer. He offers laparoscopic treatment for a variety of General and colorectal conditions like Hernias, Gall stones, Diverticular disease, Crohn's & Ulcerative colitis and Bowel cancer. Mr Rai helped to develop the laparoscopic colorectal service at the Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport. The unit has recently been shown to have the best outcome in the region in terms of survival after a major bowel operation.
