I am a goal orientated and ambitious individual currently working as a Senior Locum Occupational Therapist. I have clinical experienced in mental health rehabilitation, substance abuse, autism, Learning Disabilities, eating disorders, elderly care, adult physical rehabilitation and outpatient/inpatient acute care. Having graduated with a BA (Hons) in Dance Movement and Performance and achieved an MSc (Pre-reg) in Occupational Therapy, I have knowledge of the biological, psychological and social systems that impact the performance of an individual's occupational roles. My current role as an Occupational Therapist has underpinned my desire to impact the ever changing health care systems by dedicating myself to delivering evidence based, clinically effective holistic intervention and treatment to clients. I have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in building therapeutic relationships with clients and colleagues. I am a competent user of care planning and IT software. I have experience in implementing care and treatment plans, and collaborating ethically and effectively in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams.
