Previously an accredited facilitator and Lead trainer for the Self Management Programme for 6 years working with patients diagnosed with HIV, cancer and other chronic conditions. Alongside this it was years of volunteering and advocating for people living with HIV with AHPN and Living Well CIC. Additionally volunteered as a Youth Programme coordinator with BMECS. This led me to study and attain MSc Development Studies and consequently BSc(Hons) Occupational Therapy. I have been practicing OT since 2016 and mainly worked with private companies focusing on adult mental health rehabilitation. I have diversified my experience through Locum working. Currently working between NHS and Local authorities in the community with discharge assessment/home assessment reablement and rehabilitation teams assessing and recommending manual handling, package of care reviews and single handed care (SHC) recommendations, major and minor adaptations, community stroke rehabilitation.
