Expert & enthusiastic in physical & neurological rehabilitation experience in both acute hospital & out patient clinic in various fields including orthopaedics, paediatrics, surgical & medical which include but not limit to burn cases, neurosurgery, neurology and gerontology & Covid cases during the present pandemic outbreak in isolation wards. Well equipped skills in fabrication of splint & pressure therapy (pressure garment & padding) for patients with different orthopaedic, post surgical & medical problems. Critical thinking & decision making when serving Covid cases with assessments & monitored programs. Ethical implementation of evidence based practice for treatment intervention. Special interests & expertise in neurological rehabilitation for acquired brain injury (ABI) adult & paediatric patients & Movement Disorder patients, particularly Parkinsonism’s patients. Been a Case Manager of a community outreach rehabilitation program for frail elderly to facilitate fast but safe discharge from acute hospital to home or old age home settings, as well as to enhance their home safety by implementing fall prevention program, home based cognitive & ADL training, caregiver education as well as home adaptation and prescription of assistive devices for geriatric patients with multi-medical problems. Effective communication skills & interpersonal skills in interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary team collaborations with other medical & allied health professionals to improve outcomes of neurological rehabilitation including assessments & functional intervention programs for movement disorder patients & ABI patients. Invited speaker in various seminars & conferences on topics of ABI rehabilitation for adults & children and rehabilitation outcomes & concerns for Parkinson’s patients. Been a part-time lecturer for Master of Science in Neuroscience course & as guest speaker to deliver seminar in nursing program. Certified ISBT-Bowen therapist for patients with chronic pain & musculoskeletal problems, as well as to neurological & Parkinson’s patients for posture remediation, pain management and enhance functional performance by improving their active range of motions (AROM) with exceptional overall functional outcome.
