"Rokshana Sharifa, M.D., is an internal medicine specialist with over 35 years of experience. At Conviva Military Trail, she leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Sharifa completed a residency in the internal medicine practice of Dr. Rohit Dandiya in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, from February 1999 to August 2001. She attended the Observership for Residency Training Program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas, from June 1996 to July 1997. She served an externship in family practice at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Indiana, from June 1995 to June 1996. Dr. Sharifa earned her medical degree from the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh in June 1987 and served a medical internship at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in Mymensingh, Bangladesh, from May 1987 to April 1988. Before relocating to the United States, Dr. Sharifa practiced medicine in private and government hospital settings in Bangladesh for four years, with a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology. She obtained the Education Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates, ECFMG, certification and completed the three-part United States Medical Licensing Examination in 2003. She joined Jupiter Medical Group, now part of Conviva, in October 2003.
