I graduated from Guy’s Hospital Medical School in 1993 before undertaking specialist training in Cardiology across a number of London Teaching hospitals including a period of research into coronary physiology and cardiac stress testing as an MRC Fellow at Imperial College London. I was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow and Barts and the London in 2005 before moving to the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre in 2007. I am accredited in all aspects of general cardiology and I have specific interests in coronary artery disease & percutaneous coronary stenting and treatment of aortic valve disease with minimally invasive transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). I am currently appointed as Medical Director for Cardiothoracic | Vascular | Renal | Critical Care Mid and South Essex NHS Trust and Consultant Cardiologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow. I am also the Essex Cardiac Lead for the East of England Strategic Clinical Network.
