I’m passionate about primary care and increasing equitable access to healthcare as a whakapapa Māori healthcare clinician. I currently work in both clinical and non-clinical roles in primary care, while having worked in this sector nearly 20 years (in varying degrees; admin and nursing roles). I will always advocate for optimisation of health outcomes and believe that the NP role supports this primary care, while championing child health in my clinical and non-clinical roles. I am a strong advocate for supporting the growth of the NP profession in Aotearoa, and along with a NP friend, developed a podcast to enable and support collaboration amongst NPs.
