Dr Richard Stratton is a Consultant Physician at the Royal Free Hospital in London, as well as Associate Professor at University College London (UCL) at the Centre for Rheumatology. Dr Stratton studied medicine at Oxford University going onto train in rheumatology at Guy's Hospital in London. He then moved to the Royal Free Hospital in 1995. After completing his PhD thesis at UCL he was appointed as a consultant at the Royal Free Hospital. Dr Stratton has a keen interest in developing novel strategies to treat fibrosis using scleroderma as a model.
