A skilled Technology Leader and experienced software engineer, covering every aspect of the software delivery lifecycle from top-level strategic, through hands-on management, to in-the-trenches on design and development. Having covered the leadership, management, operational and development sides of building large and complex distributed solutions and teams, I have a unique perspective on how to design, deliver and support software that is scalable, resilient, easy to deploy, simple to monitor and straightforward to troubleshoot. Having previously built high-performing, globally distributed teams from the ground up, I now bring my leadership and development skills to PEI, and to the exciting new challenges that brings. Previously at Preqin, the alternative asset industry's leading data provider, I built and lead a large team on a game-changing platform redevelopment. As well as providing leadership for the team and project, I was the SME for search functionality using elasticsearch. This project also involved digital transformation and migration to AWS. I've worked for the UK's leading Microsoft Gold Partner for Cloud Platform, using my skills and expertise to build solutions that deliver real business value on the Azure platform. I've helped startups, SMBs and globally recognised brands across financial services, retail, recruitment and the tech sector to get the most out of the cloud.
