Rian A. Maercks, MD, works at the Maercks Institute in Miami Beach, Florida.  He specializes in facial aesthetics and breast augmentation and reduction, using his own technique.  In the Maercks method, with is known as "tissue-centric", the face is not pulled on and incisions are hidden to erase any notice of a face-lift.  This technique was pioneered during Dr. Maerckss education with other doctors.  As a child, Dr. Maercks was fascinated by the field of plastic surgery and he has since trained at childrens hospitals and veterans hospitals. He has worked in Mexico, South America, and Europe to learn from the worlds finest leaders in plastic surgery.
