I currently hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Human Biology from University of Plymouth since 2002. I have also attained an MSc in Forensic Archaeology- Crime Scene and International Investigations from Bournemouth University in 2005. My final thesis was titled "LOCATION OF BLADED WEAPONS USING MAGNETOMETRY" The last 10years has been spent establishing a family business in rural Cornwall, I am now seeking a role which can bring together my customer service experience and my scientific interests. During my archaeological career I was involved in geophysical surveying, excavation, research and archiving in the UK and Ireland. I hope to bring my organisation and preparation skills to a role which within my own business brought success to over many smoothly hosted celebrations. I am keen to develop previous retail experience and communication skills. I have a proven passion for all things Cornish but especially my farming heritage. I am eager to find a role which can bring together my customer service experience and my passion for agriculture. I have gained skills in animal care through my role at a local veterinary practice as well as undertaking laboratory and reception duties. I enjoy furthering my own research and recently engaged with “Cornwall365” to create a cultural heritage map and also was honoured to be one of their first cultural ambassadors on their monthly social media feature. I recently furthered my knowledge of the Cornish language through undertaking a “Cornish Studies until Dusk” course through university of Exeter at Heartlands. I have an interest in how history can be brought to life for the public and create inspiration to further visitor knowledge. I would relish any opportunity to learn new skills. I hope my enthusiasm, willingness to learn and versitility will stand me in good stead for any role. A diverse range of duties will be a welcome challenge and I look forward to working with a team of like-minded individuals.
