I graduated in Biomedical Sciences and got my Master and PhD at UNIFESP - EPM in Microbiology, Microbial Pathogenesis. During my post graduation I worked in several scientific projects, which were published in indexed periodic. I also wrote a chapter in the medical book, Microbiology. I taught Microbiology for medical, biomedical and nurse classes for about 8 years. My post doctoral was developed in Bacterial Pathogenesis, at Cornell Medical College (NY) and School of Public Health, University of California, Berkley. After many years in academic research, I decided to move on to Clinical Research. I did a specialisation in this area at Faculdade de Ciências Medicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo and started working in a Brazilian CRO as monitor. In this position I had the opportunity to work in clinical trials of various therapeutic areas, performing monitoring and other activities. After working as project manager of rare diseases and complexes studies for 5 years I reached the position of Head of Operations.
