My career in Child Mental Health as a Psychiatrist,has led me to working in this area where the emergence of emotional and behavioral issues are causing concern. My DPM in Psychiatry at NIMHANS,Bangalore led on to exploring the world of Child psychiatry in UK.I spent 6 years training in Psychiatry in UK,3 years were spent to attain specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry., I worked as a consultant and clinical director in Hull,East Yorkshire till 2013 from 2007. I took a year long career break which extended to 5 years during which I spent time in India working on a project to build a comprehensive service. During this time I was also visiting Consultant working fro Sheffield CAMHS,Sheffield,UK Currently I have moved on to newer challenges and I am working in South West Sydney,Australia as a child and adolescent Psychiatrist
