If you have other insurance, we can try to help you use your insurance for prescriptions, labs, imaging, etc.** Dr. Ramisa Rahman is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and specializes in holistic health. She grew up in Plano, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas. She completed medical school at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio, Texas and completed her residency at Medical City Arlington, where she was selected as Chief Resident of her program. She is excited to be back home in the Dallas area! Dr. Rahman provides comprehensive healthcare with an individualized approach to patients of all ages. Her passion is to help patients maintain their optimal health through a holistic approach with evidence-based practices. From preventive care, chronic conditions, and overall wellness, she believes in empowering patients with knowledge about their health. From the osteopathic perspective of mind, body, and spirit being interconnected, she treats the person as a whole. She collaboratively designs personalized treatment plans for each of her patients. Outside of medicine, Dr. Rahman enjoys yoga, photography, art, and watching basketball. Dr. Rahman believes in high quality patient care. She does not accept insurance at Purposeful Healing Direct Primary Care; however, she can help you use your insurance if you need to get labs, imaging, referrals, or pick up any prescriptions.
