Dr Rajeeva Singh is an experienced consultant paediatrician and honorary senior lecturer. He is lead for Paediatric Epilepsy at Mid Yorkshire Hospital in Dewsbury where he treats infants, children and adolescents.Dr Singh initially trained in India and was awarded the University Gold Medal in Medicine for the best graduate in Medicine. Following on from this, Dr Singh completed his Masters in Paediatrics from the Diplomate of National Board and then trained in North Trent rotation. He cleared MRCP and was awarded MRCPCH. He is now a fellow of the college with honorary FRCPCH. He has also completed a Diploma in Childhood Neurodisability.He runs general paediatrics and a dedicated epilepsy & neuromuscular disorder clinic. He also runs neurodevelopmental clinics. He trained in paediatric neurology at Sheffield Childrens Hospital.Additionally, Dr Singh is the Level 1 course director and trainer at Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET), held every alternate year at the Dewsbury hospital.He has been associated with RCPCH, as a council member between 2015 and 2020 and as Royal College of Paediatric & Child Health Officer for the North East of England.
