My NHS Practice is based at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust (Soon to be "Midlands Metropolitan University Hospital"). I have a busy NHS practice in all aspects of General and Colorectal surgery. I am the Clinical Lead for General, Upper GI and Colorectal Surgery. I am the lead for IBD surgery and played a pivotal role in improving the service for IBD patients by ensuring regular and quorate MDTs and implementing joint IBD clinics with the gastroenterologists and ensuring core IBD surgeons. I am also a dedicated Pelvic floor surgeon and sponsor the award winning nurse led FINCH service. I manage all aspects of pelvic floor dysfunction including consitpation, incontinence and prolapse. I also have a busy practice in the management of cancers of the colon and rectum - the majority using robotic techniques. I consult Privately at The BMI hospitals BIrmingham and Little Aston Spire. My private practice mirrors my NHS practice and I mange all aspects of colorectal surgery, gall stones and hernias. The majority of my practice is keyhole.
