I have been a consultant cardiologist for over 15 years and my current NHS practice is based at The Royal Brompton Hospital. I perform general cardiology clinics and have extensive experience in both advanced echocardiography and percutaneous coronary intervention. I have a particular interest in the assessment of chest pain,and shortness of breath. I routinely perform stress and contrast echocardiography, trans-oesophageal echocardiography, 3-D echocardiography. I have numerous publications in a broad range of cardiac conditions including coronary heart disease, valve disease and heart failure. I have a Doctor of Medicine qualification and Fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology and European Society of Cardiology. I am also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer with The National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College, London with active research interests.
