I am a HCPC certified occupational therapist with over two years of experience in providing person-centered, holistic, and evidence-based care to patients with complex needs. I have a background in psychology and law, which enhances my understanding of the biopsychosocial factors that affect health and well-being. I am passionate about working in an innovative, supportive, and diverse environment that strives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. Currently, I work at Whittington Health as part of the Specialised Therapy Assessment and Reablement Team (START), where I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate rapid decision-making and avoid unnecessary hospital admission. I provide timely and comprehensive therapy assessment and intervention for patients who are frail and/or have complex mobility or care needs in the Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care, and Medical Assessment Units. I use my clinical reasoning, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure safe and effective discharge and coordinate appropriate interventions and follow-up care with hospital and community services. Some of the skills I use in my daily practice include teamwork, time management, and analytical skills.
