Armed with a zeal for helping others through 15 years of experience as a trauma nurse, I decided to become a third-generation member of the Hess Meat Machines family as a sales associate. The culture at Hess Meat Machines allowed me to use the skills that I had learned as a nurse (help others first) to acquire sales by creating partnerships. I work with my team for each client to triage their challenge, and come up with the best solution—while trying to save them time and money. I eventually served as operations manager and key accounts manager before assuming the role of President of Hess Meat Machines, a high-quality machinery corporation that partners with the Midwest’s largest supermarket chains, food chains, convenience stores, meat processors, and institutions. As president, I ensure that Hess Meat Machines is the premier distributor for local restaurants, grocers, and other food service companies’ commercial food equipment needs - providing everything from sales, consulting, installation, and training to ongoing support and maintenance services.
