Description

What am I doing with my life? If that question resonates with you, we should talk. Existence is beautiful, sure, but it can also be very painful. I focus with clients on identifying sources of pain or unhappiness in their lives, and discovering effective ways to manage or eradicate these. Emotional agony manifests in many different ways, from substance abuse to depression, from burnout to existential despair, from anxiety to self harm and suicidal thoughts. We will explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences together, and we will make things better. With both a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Co-Occurring Disorders and a Doctorate of Medicine, I am uniquely qualified to explore the body/mind connection with clients and identify with them how these domains can be addressed both together and separately to decrease suffering. In our initial meeting, my primary goal is to ensure that you feel heard and understood. Maybe you know exactly what you want out of therapy, maybe you just know that you feel lost, desperate, or hopeless. Whatever it is, we will sort it out, and we will identify a path forward that will allow you to leave feeling less alone and more hopeful.
