Jogin Thakore was appointed as a Consultant Psychiatrist from 1999 to 2019, at the Neuroscience Centre in St. Vincent’s Hospital Fairview. He is currently engaged in a Medico-legal Practice. He is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at TCD and Clinical Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at RCSI. Having graduated from TCD, I started my Psychiatric training with the St. Patrick’s Postgraduate Training Scheme. After this I went to London, where I obtained my Psychiatric Membership (MRCPsych) and PhD in Psychiatry from the University of London. On returning to Ireland, I was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI).
