I truly believe that I have got a good balance of leadership, pharmacy and clinical practice and more importantly I enjoy the challenging nature of working as part of interdisciplinary team. My enthusiasm and passion for my job will be demonstrated through my contribution, skill development to meet the needs of the business. During university, I enrolled in a leadership and management elective course where I became a member of a book club and was required to carry out various strategic planning tasks, attend seminars with external speaks across the UK and interview vocational training and leadership principal leads and reflect on their leadership development journey. I have developed so much within each of these aspects, which are crucial in my leadership journey as they can multiply my impact, divide my workload as a future leader, add to my effectiveness. This experience will help me become a more effective leader who is ready to help shape the future of pharmacy. I truly believe, I am a self-starter and by demonstrating my proactivity and willingness to take any opportunities to extend my knowledge and experience, I am driven to assist my own learning and development needs, I am going to make use of all these available resources in order to strive for excellence and make them proud. I am also a very quick learner and I’d love to be trained to work as efficiently as I can. During my pre reg, I have done medicine information rotation. In medicines Information I have also demonstrated my ability to listen carefully to the enquirers, ask appropriate questions in order to gather all necessary information and communicate my answer back via phone, face-to-face and letter, using the appropriate language. I have also had the opportunity to work at GP environment as a three-month placement, where I was working effectively within interdisciplinary team which helped me gain a better understanding of ways to improve patient's satisfaction regardless of the overwhelming workload. In addition, I have previously worked in a warehouse and production line company where I contributed to the running of sales and after-sales service unit where I was in charge of providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement and individual development along with assisting in development of new products that benefit customers. I moved to the UK at age fifteen on my own and I think my seven-year journey tested my ability to adapt myself, accordingly, proving I am resilient, and I can assimilate into new environments easily.
