Since graduating in July 1999 I have gained experience in general practice before specialising in Neurological rehabilitation. My area of clinical expertise is working in the rehabilitation of clients with brain and spinal injury with complex and multi-faceted needs. I have worked with a wide range of clients ranging in age from 6years to 84years and have a specialist interest in clients in PDOC or complex clinical presentation. Further to my BSc Occupational Therapy, I have also gained a post graduate certificate in Brain Injury Rehabilitation from Queen Margaret University, accreditation in neuropsychological testing and have completed courses in vestibular rehabilitation. I am an accredited assessor for the Assessment of Motor and Process SKills (AMPS) and a member of the RCOT Specialist Section for Neurological Practice. In my role at Neural Pathways I am clinical lead Occupational Therapist and lead our company programme for continuing professional development across our clinical team and am part of our senior management team. Neural Pathways (UK) Ltd is an independent sector therapy provider specialising in true community rehabilitation for clients with a range of neurological conditions including brain injury, spinal injury, dual diagnosis (brain and spinal injury) and other complex neurological conditions.
