Finally, in a role that I care passionately about! Hopefully, we’ll be able to solve many daily restrictions for the V.I. community and help to restore their independence and quality of life. I can understand and reason with, the environmental challenges faced by those with a disability, as I am visually impaired too. As too, are so many in our population; but meagre assistance has been given to them until recently. The Equality Act states that no group in society should be left more disadvantaged than another and that authorities have a moral duty to balance this. But we want to push this, to make it a legal duty with advice and guidance, supported centrally. A person’s safety and convenience, is a fundamental human right in life!
