Mr Peter Ayliffe is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Kind Edward VII Hospital, London. He qualified in Dentistry from the Royal Dental Hospital, University of London in 1982 (BDS Lond) and qualified in Medicine from St Georges Hospital Medical School in 1993 (MB BS Lond). He holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the specialist Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England as well as a Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Mr Ayliffe was formally appointed to Grampian Health Authority and the University of Aberdeen as a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon and Senior Lecturer in January 2001 and subsequently moved to University College London Hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital London in 2002. Retiring from NHS practice in 2017. He was an honorary Senior Lecturer at The Institute of Child Health at the University of London and is a member of the faculty for the Fellowship exam at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
