I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1990; since joining the Spinal Injuries Treatment Centre at Salisbury District Hospital in 1995 I have worked solely in the field of spinal cord injury. I continue to work at the Spinal Centre as part of the Outpatient team. Since 1997 I have been preparing Medico-legal Reports for clients with paraplegia and tetraplegia - including those with ultra-high, complete and incomplete lesions; I have attended a course entitled ‘Excellence in Report Writing and Courtroom Skills for the Expert Witness’, led by Bond Solon Training. To date I have prepared more than 200 medicolegal reports for individuals with spinal cord injury and have also given evidence in Court.
