I am currently working as Lead Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist for a new service in Trafford - Trafford Community Response (TCR). I have a wealth of experience across multiple clinical specialties - previously working as Lead Specialist Medicine Pharmacist (Gastroenterology) at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Also, I worked part-time at the University of Manchester as the Lead for Specialist Medicines Optimisation and Therapeutics (SMOT) module on the Postgraduate Diploma in Clincal Pharmacy. Unfortunately, I had to end this role as I was no longer able to commit the time required in my role in TCR. I am a qualified non-medical prescriber with a passion for medicines optimisation, frailty, patient counselling and opiate reduction.
