Mr Paul Tesha became a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Lincoln County Hospital in 2009. As a retina specialist, he diagnoses and treats diseases and surgical problems of the retina, his special interests include Macular Degeneration and he is also lead clinician for age-related Macular Degeneration treatment services in Lincolnshire. Mr Tesha has also taken a leading role in the development of eye services, which has led to an improvement in the quality of care for his patients. He places great emphasis on providing a high quality, bespoke service and continually audits his outcomes, which exceed national standards. Mr Tesha has invested in a stateof-the-art optical coherence tomography (OCT) machine which produces high-quality scans of the eye and allows patients to be diagnosed earlier. In addition he has almost 20 years of experience in this field and is an expert in OCT interpretation .
