Working as an Antimicrobial and Critical Care Pharmacist at a large teaching hospital, I'm dedicated to promoting responsible and safe antimicrobial prescribing through my role in the Trust's Antimicrobial Stewardship team. This involves close collaboration with the microbiology and infectious diseases teams, contributing to antimicrobial guidelines, offering daily advice on treatment options, and providing educational support to junior staff. My clinical pharmacy expertise extends to the infectious disease ward and critical care unit. As a senior pharmacist, I supervise and line manage junior and trainee pharmacists. My primary focus is on utilising the best evidence-based practices for optimal infection treatment.
