Board Certified in Internal Medicine since 2003, Dr. Haghighi has been taking care of some of the most complicated patients in the Northern Virginia area. He has taken care of patients in Inova Fairfax, Inova Alexandria and Virginia Hospital Center. Dr Haghighi is the President of Fairfax Internal Medicine Associates, which is one of the largest internal Medicine groups in the Northern Virginia area. Fairfax Internal Medicine Associates is the only private group that has outpatient services and follows their patients at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Dr Haghighi has the experience of medical directorship of Hadley Hospital, one of the first Hosptials in Washington, D.C. and also experience of Medical Directorship of Gentiva Hospice (the largest Hospice/ Home Health company in the United States) for the Northern Virginia area.He has been a teaching attending for Internal Medicine residents at Fairfax Hopsital for many years. Dr Haghighi is an active member of Medical Quality Committee and a member of Peer Review Committee at Inova Fairfax Hospital. He is also the Medical Director of Iliff Nursing and Rehab Center.
