Career Achievements Pam initiated and developed the first Nurse Practitioner Role as sub investigator in clinical research in our country. She is an endorsed Nurse Practitioner (NP) having graduated with a Masters of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner from Flinders University in 2015. She is also a Credentialed Diabetes Educator with over 20 years’ experience in Diabetes nursing. Her scope of practice is in Diabetes with a focus on Diabetes Research. She also has membership of many professional societies including the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners, the Endocrine Nurses Association and the Australian Diabetes Educators Association and is National Study Coordinator for the LEADER study. Goals To Strengthen and enhance research development by providing recognition of our health network with excellent research skills. To Develop the role of the NP in clinical trials throughout Australia Philosophy of Nursing and Midwifery A commitment to improving the quality of health care through research.
