Experience is mainly in hospital clinical pharmacy. Pre-registration training at Post-qualification: 1. STEP programme - 6 month rotations at a junior level: -Psychiatry at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust where I wrote a PGD for managing disturbed behaviour in adult inpatients - HIV Services at Lewisham Hospital where I conducted an audit on Patient's Satisfaction with Information about Medicines - Respiratory Medicine, where I looked at cost reduction measure in COPD treatment and Cystic Fibrosis. 2. Prescriber and Specialist Pharmacist in Trauma and Orthopaedics- - Inpatient unit - prescribing for between 40-50 patients per day. - Areas of focus is pain management, antibiotic treatment and VTE prophylaxis Prior to this, did a rotational job for 3 years. I gained in depth experience and knowledge in Neurosciences, Urology, Vascular and General Surgery. I also worked in antibiotics with a special interest in diabetic foot and conducted a collaborative regional audit on missed and delayed doses of antimicrobials, which was presented to UKCPA. My research interests are improving pharmacist management in diabetes management, pain management in orthopaedics and impact of pharmacist prescriber roles at St Georges Hospital
