Raquel Shadan is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in both medical and cosmetic Dermatology. She attended St. John’s University’s accelerated and rigorous Physician Assistant program and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  Raquel completed several months of training in the TDS fellowship program alongside many providers and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Prior to joining The Dermatology Specialists, Raquel worked as a Dermatology medical assistant in New York City and gained experience during her Dermatology and Plastic Surgery clinical rotations. Her past experience as a medical assistant strengthened her passion for Dermatology and has allowed her to recognize and empathize with patients who struggle with various skin conditions.
