Karissa Ramos, MSPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in Dermatology, holding licenses to practice in both New York and Florida. Her journey into medicine began at the University of South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Health Sciences, along with a minor in Nutrition. After graduating, she delved into the world of dermatology as a medical assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience that fueled her passion for the field. Karissa then pursued further education at Barry University - St. Petersburg, where she completed her Master of Clinical Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Karissa's decision to specialize in dermatology is rooted in her deep admiration for its blend of science and artistry, which empowers patients to achieve healthier skin and renewed confidence. She is committed to providing exceptional dermatological care to her patients, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and empowered on their journey to healthier skin which is why she is currently undergoing a rigorous fellowship training program alongside the compassionate providers at TDS.
