As a care home practice pharmacist at Salford Royal Foundation Trust, I provide clinical and prescribing support to over 40 care homes in the area, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines for the residents. I also act as a clinical tutor pharmacist, mentoring and training pharmacy students and pre-registration pharmacists in various aspects of clinical pharmacy. I have over 2.5 years of experience as a locum community pharmacist, where I delivered high-quality pharmacy services to diverse and complex patients. I have a masters of pharmacy degree from the University of Central Lancashire, and I am currently pursuing an independent prescribing course at The University of Manchester, which will enable me to prescribe for a range of conditions and enhance my clinical skills. I am passionate about improving patient outcomes and quality of life, and I am committed to lifelong learning and professional development. I have strong competencies in communication, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving, and I have contributed to multiple publications on pharmacy topics.
