Olawunmi Shobande is a UK qualified pharmacist and innovative entrepreneur. As a teenager, she worked alongside her mother and helped with running the family business. This is where it all started for Olawunmi; she recognised that she had a passion to own a successful and poignant business or businesses. She has since built on this and acquired knowledge and skills over the years that have allowed her to be more equipped to do this. She also has a passion for people and the sciences. This explains why she went down the pharmacy route. She studied at the Medway School of Pharmacy where she finished with a first class honors and was recognized for her outstanding achievement as she won the award for 'distinguished performance in the examinations in the Faculty of Sciences'. She has numerous experience in well known and credible hospital and community pharmacies all over the UK, including Lloyds Pharmacy. She currently works as a Locum pharmacist in various pharmacy sectors. Together with her partner, Emmanuel Akintunde, they own and run GF Entertainment Limited, a boutique entertainment company; providing the best, niche and memorable entertainers/performers for corporate and private events in London, New York and Dubai.
