Dr. Ukaoma, known here simply as Dr. U, is an Austinite passionate about dentistry and making people feel comfortable. She graduated from UT Austin (Hook ‘em) and continued to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. During this time, Dr. Ukaoma earned distinctions in dental education and dental research involving people living with dementia. Dr. Ukaoma has continued her training in pursuit of a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Having previously practiced in Missouri, Dr. Ukaoma is excited to return to Austin, join Blooming Dental, and serve our patients. When not in the office or attending continuing education, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and Goldendoodle. Dr. Ukaoma has also taken up playing tennis after many years as a basketball and track athlete.
