I am a Consultant Psychiatrist for a community mental health recovery team in Essex. I am involved in undergraduate medical education as well as postgraduate training. Aside from my full-time NHS post, I also run the Anglo European Clinic, where we offer fast-track access to psychiatric treatment. We offer a full service for ADHD patients - assessment, diagnosis, treatment initiation and continuing management. We work with GPs for shared care. My other clinical role is that of the Chief Medical Officer for the Lighthouse Clinic, where we offer inpatient treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. I am involved in medico-legal work as an expert witness for all matters of adult mental health - personal injury to fitness to plead/stand trial, mental capacity to make decisions, etc.
