Dr. Numan Cem Balci, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Balci was Chairman of Radiology in Bilim University and Director of Oncologic Imaging in Florence Nightingale Hospitals in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Balci was in charge of the first PETMRI scanner in Turkey and in the Region. Dr. Balci has been apart of the Living Donor Liver Transplantation Team in Istanbul, Turkey and Responsible for the Radiologic preparation of recipients and donors. Dr. Balci received his medical degree from Istanbul University, Turkey in 1991. He completed his residency at Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich in 1996. Dr. Balci performed a two year research fellowship at University of North Carolina, USA in Body MRI in 1997 to 1999. Dr. Balci worked as an Associate Professor in Kocaeli University, Turkey from 2003 to 2005. Dr. Balci worked as Visiting Professor in Saint Louis University, USA for five years from 2005 to 2010. Dr. Balci resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and son. He enjoys jogging, biking, hiking, swimming and Indian food. WORK EXPERIENCES
