Collaborating with the healthcare team to unravel the multiple layers of a patient's illness is one of the most rewarding experiences I have in my career. Most often, teaching is the most important method I use every day....teaching can start a real change in behavior,and lead to improvement far beyond my words. As I move forward in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner role, I hope to never stop learning, teaching and guiding people to health, knowledge and truth. After 23 years of bedside nursing, I have entered the world of Legal Nurse Consulting, and it has filled me with purpose. I have reviewed med mal cases, and taken all of my experience in general medicine, cardiology, and Cardiology ICU (including heart transplant, LVAD, and Impella) and CVICU. I am open to reviewing cases, Expert witness, and any other healthcare situations that may need to be interpreted from the medical professionals viewpoint.
