I studied Medicine at Oxford and then St Thomas's hospital. My haematology specialist training was conducted at University College Hospital London and the Hammersmith hospital London. I held a leukemia research fellowship and then an MRC fellowship before taking up my clinical haematology consultant post. Since taking up this post I have taken a Masters degree in Education and I am an adjunct reader in medical education at Imperial college, London.
