Dr. Koutlas is a native of Winston-Salem and has moved throughout the state of North Carolina for her medical education. The people, location, and culture brought her back “home” after she completed her training.Having grown up with a sibling with food allergies and asthma, she saw how a caring provider could significantly improve a patient’s quality of life, drawing her to the field of allergy and immunology. Dr. Koutlas loves working with patients of all ages and building lasting relationships to improve the symptoms and overall well-being of patients with allergic disease.Outside of work, Dr. Koutlas enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and horseback riding.
