I’ve been practicing pharmacy in the community for 16 years and recently moved into Gp surgery after attaining my independent prescribing qualification. I am professional, committed and try to deliver excellence from a clinical perspective. The role involves being the clinical pharmacist for the practice by being able to assist in the prescribing of medication for patients thereby assisting the Gp in some way so that they can be able to concentrate more on complex conditions. I also undertake audits, assist in training other healthcare professionals and carry out daily clinics for patients who are in need of a medication review which can extend from a simple query to a full structured medication review.
