Dr. Nate Aigner is excited to continue in providing the highest quality eye care in Colorado Springs with the Vision Institute. Dr. Aigner completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Iowa graduating with summa cum laude honors. Dr. Aigner then received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry graduating with highest distinction. During his optometric studies, Dr. Aigner received training in all facets of optometric care, completing clinical rotations at Eglin Air Force Base, a private Ophthalmology/Optometry surgical center as well as with the Native American Health Service. After receiving his degree, Dr. Aigner completed his residency with the Marion Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, Illinois focusing on Ocular Disease and Primary Eye Care. Dr. Aigner is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. Aside from his passion for patient care, Dr. Aigner enjoys fishing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and exploring all that the stunning state of Colorado has to offer.
