Having worked for Boots from the age of 16 I decided to pursue a career in Pharmacy. I gained my first class master's degree from De Montfort University in 2015 and qualified in 2016 after doing my pre-registration year with Boots. I then continued in community as a relief Pharmacist and then store-based until 2020. This included completing the RPS Foundation Pharmacist programme, and providing many services: MURs, NMS, flu jabs, emergency contraception and the minor ailments service. I then moved to a PCN Pharmacist role working for GP surgeries, whilst maintaining one Sunday a month for Boots, and completed my Non-Medical Prescribing course. I am a hard-working, caring Pharmacist and always seek more knowledge and challenges whilst keeping my patients at the centre of what I do. I work well within a team and as a leader, building good relationships not only as a Pharmacy Team leader but with all the different staff in 3 surgeries, ranging from admin teams to GPs. I juggle working 4-5 days a week along with being Mum to a 4 year old, so I consider myself to be a very organised person with good time management!
