Experienced Psychotherapist from the Tavistock Clinic, London as well as a Chartered and Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Worked in the NHS for over 30 years providing Psychological treatment to a range of patients in outpatient settings. Experience working with adults, adolescents, and young people who have experienced transient difficulties through trauma or crisis that sometimes result in stress, anxiety, and depression. Extensive experience of those patients who have suffered profound emotional difficulties in their early life that have resulted in enduring personality difficulties which include problematic relationships, self-harm, or suicidal tendencies. Bearing in mind that when a patient comes for help with their difficulties, they need to feel they are in safe and competent hands, I try to do this by being responsive and ethical in my approach and addressing what obstructs their capacity to live a more emotionally fulfilling and meaningful life.
